Easy Cherry Jubilee Cake

“This is a lovely coffee cake! I lost my recipe card and I was SOO happy when I found it on the website! It’s in the oven right now!”

Ingredients:

1 package Classic Devil’s Food Cake Mix
½ cup chopped Maraschino cherries*
2 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping
1 tub Creamy Home-Style Classic Chocolate Frosting

Directions:

Hot oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 9″ round cake pans.
Prepare, bake and cool cake as directed on package. Fold maraschino cherries into whipped topping.

To assemble: place one cake layer on serving plate. Spread whipped topping mixture. Top with second layer. Frost sides and top with frosting. Refrigerate until ready to devour.
